Jenny's Journey

Hard for me to believe it has been 1 whole year since we welcomed little Jenna Danielle into the world!   Below are only a few pictures from her first year.  It was a busy year.  Full of doctor visits, playing with big sis and learning all kinds of new things! (alot from her big sis...I get such a kick out of watching the 2 of them interact!  Jenna just watches Jadyn so intently...and then copies her!)   I hardly remember her having this "silly lip" as Jadyn would call it.    A few pics of before and after surgery. Snacks and playing with big sister  Being Silly Happy Birthday to my big little girl!  This past year went by so fast.  You have been so brave and been through alot for such a little girl.  You are such a joy to have around, you really make alot of people smile and laugh with all of your silly faces and sounds you make.  I am so glad that you are part of our family!  I love you sweetie pie!

Happy Birthday Jenna!  Here are a few pictures from her birthday party Saturday March 27th                    Jenna's buddy Jake was in attendace! Blow out the Candles! Thanks to Uncle Jeff for making the cake for Jenna. It is one of the best recipes for chocolate cake I have ever had, Jenna agrees! It is Hershey's Perfectly Chocolate Cake (find the recipe on the back of a box of Hersheys cocca powder)  Numerous guests had pieces of Jenna's cake instead!  We decided to take off her cute little dress before she started eating.....good thing we did!

Jenna's 1st birthday party is today...it should be fun!  I have a good feeling that she is gonna LOVE and destroy her cake!  Hope to see you all there! How the year flew by, I cant believe my baby is gonna be 1 years old!

We have all been enjoying this nice weather we have been having....Jenna really seems to like playing outside. It should be a fun summer this year with both girls! We have had Jenna out a few times already swinging and going down the slide and she seems to like it. We bought this swingset for Jadyn's 1st birthday...and it just amazes me to think the Jenna is going to be 1 soon and Jadyn 5!! (I say weee...weee...when Jenna or any baby is swinging....in case you were wondering!!)

Today is my sister-in-law, Tracy's birthday! I hope you have a nice day Tracy!

Some of you may not know that James and I decided to do some home improvements over the last week.  We have talked about doing this for a long time, but either it was a issue of money or time! Well, James has had lots of time on his hands and I think he was getting a little ansy not working for so long....so he needed a project...a big one! Well, I didnt do much of anything but go to work everyday!  He started this not so little project a week ago  Tuesday and finished it on Sunday!  Just in time for a birthday party! It turned out beautiful and he did a really nice job!  It feels like I am living in someone else's house!! Today I officially brought and kept my vacuum cleaner upstairs to live from now on because there is no carpet to vacuum downstairs anymore... Next on my list is to paint my dining room and repaint my 1/2 bath....

My niece, Taylor, turned 14 on this past Friday!  Her party with family was last  nite! I hope you had a nice birthday Taylor!

The other day Jadyn, Jenna, Guy and myself stopped to get us some Starbucks.  Jadyn even got a hot coccoa!  I either like to get a tall skinny vanilla latte or a tall skinny peppermint mocha with no whip (in fall I LOVE the skinny pumpkin spice latte)!  I just had to get this pic of J sitting here vest on, coffee in hand while sitting at her Barbie laptop!  How funny.  The dude at Starbucks told me to bring him a copy of the picture in and he would post it in the store!

Today we had Stacy's baby shower! Isnt she cute!?! Little baby Alioto is due mid-May! 2 months to go. The baby shower was held at the Java Hut in Oconomowoc. So I was able to get my coffee fix! Congratulations Stacy! You will make a wonderful Mommy! Lots of hard work and patience but its also tons of fun and all worth it! James and I dont remember what life was like with out children! (A lot less hectic thats for sure!) One thing I learned when I had my first child is that it is not until you have a child of your own do you only then realize how much your own Mom and Dad love you!
