So I lied!

Yeah, I did not post any thing about our vacation!  Ha!  I did a bunch of picture posting on FaceBook!  That was enough!  We had a great time...and hopefully will be heading back next year the week of July 4th. So, yeah....umm....no one reads this crap anyways. Bowling started yestereday.  I bowled 114  112  and 110.   Consistant...is what my Mom said.  Yeah...I guess.  Not bad for not bowling all summer. My oldest bro, Jeff....had surgery today on his neck/vertebrae...c6/7...something around that area.  Thankfully all went well!  He should get to go home tomorrow.  Jadyn started 1st grade and all is going well.  All except for in the morning when tears start falling because something is not right with her outfit.  Sometimes I am sooooo glad to not have to deal with this too often.  Being at work and all way before that time!  Anyways...I go now.  I may post again in a few months....probably not.

Family Vacation Summer 2011

As of this upcoming Saturday we are taking our 1st official vacation as a family.  This will be the first time ever that James and I have taken the girls on an extended vacation from home.  We have done, 2 days max with them...that been it.  Just the 4 of us! It should be a blast, as long as the weather behaves! On Saturday we are driving 5 hours north, to Lac du Flambeau Wisconsin.  We will be only 15 minutes from the resort area of Minocqua and Woodruff, Wisconsin.  Right now the only thing that worries me a bit is the 5 hour drive.  That is along time for anyone to drive, let alone little kids stuck in car seats!  We plan on making stops, one most definitely being McDonalds, with a playland to let them use up some energy!!! The place we are staying at is:  http://www.timberbayresort.com/  and we are staying in the smallest cabin the Cedarwood.  It looks nice, way nicer than some I had seen while scoping out a place to stay!!  And I have only heard nice things about the plac

St. Pattys Day!

Today a leprechaun invaded our house!  2 toilets had green water(according to Jadyn - he must have peed in them!)  - Our milk was green too, I hope he didn't pee in that!! They leprechaun had been leaving things all week in Jadyn's classroom at school- left his hat, and boot behind...made big messes in the classroom. She even made a trap to catch the darn thing at school and at home!  Her note to the chaun read: "Please come in leprechaun. it is safe" Today when she got up she saw the toilets and milk were green and a bunch of gold coins scattered about the kitchen(she said the coins smelled like real gold, but James said they smelled to him like chocolate!!)  She took all the gold coins to school today....and good thing she did!  That darn leprechaun came back looking for all the coins he lost!  Our house was turned upside down!  Couch cushions on the floor, blankets everywhere, toys everywhere and the mittens and hat basket was all tossed around the room!  Th
