Jenny's Journey

Yeah, I did not post any thing about our vacation!  Ha!  I did a bunch of picture posting on FaceBook!  That was enough!  We had a great time...and hopefully will be heading back next year the week of July 4th. So, yeah....umm....no one reads this crap anyways. Bowling started yestereday.  I bowled 114  112  and 110.   Consistant...is what my Mom said.  Yeah...I guess.  Not bad for not bowling all summer. My oldest bro, Jeff....had surgery today on his neck/vertebrae...c6/7...something around that area.  Thankfully all went well!  He should get to go home tomorrow.  Jadyn started 1st grade and all is going well.  All except for in the morning when tears start falling because something is not right with her outfit.  Sometimes I am sooooo glad to not have to deal with this too often.  Being at work and all way before that time!  Anyways...I go now.  I may post again in a few months.......

It is so hard to believe that summer is already over.  J heads back to FULL day school today.  I think she is both excited and a little scared.  She is mostly excited to see lots of her old friends she missed over the summer.  We dropped off all of her stuff at Open House yesterday and found her classroom and desk.    I always liked school and I really hope she likes it too!  (my feeling from 4K last year - she really didnt like it too much! Hopefully that changes!) Were did my baby go? She did not seem too nervous, so that was good.  She ended up getting home at like 4:10 and had tons of energy.  I thought for sure she would be pooped!  She never can seem to remember what they did that day, but she did say that they had 3 recesses!!! Both girls headed off to bed a bit earlier tonite then usual....and that's OK with me!

Tonite we had our first ever parent teacher conferences at Ixonia Elementary for Jadyn! They didn't have one bad thing to say!  But we already knew how great she was!  She was right in line with everyone else or exceeding beyond!  They said she is a pleasure to have in class! Way to go Jadyn!  Keep it up!  You make your Mommy and Daddy proud! (I was worried at first when I saw a couple of "D"'s on her progress report.  But was relieved to find out that D = Developing(as in skills)!) She seems to really like school now and I hope she continues to over the years!  I really liked school and did well, and I hope she does too!  Now when it comes to Math, I will be the one asking for help!  James can do that! Fractions, ick...

Well, shes off! A bit nervous at first, but that didn't last long. Jadyn kept asking when the bus was going to come! (Not to mention we went outside to wait for the bus and take pictures at least 25 minutes before the bus was even scheduled to arrive!) I didn't even get a picture of her getting on the bus because she flew up those stairs and found a seat so fast! I didn't think I was going to feel sad, but I do, just a little. Especially when the bus was driving away. Where did my baby go? Where did the time go? But I am happy that I have raised a little girl that is happy and confident and is very ready for school. I just hope she finds school as fun as I did. I hope she likes it!
