Jenny's Journey

When I got home from work on Friday, I was completely surprised to see flowers in a box on my porch...couldn't imagine who they would be from!  They were from Jacob, my godson!  How nice. I made sure I called and thanked him!! They are gorgeous!  For my birthday we went to La Merenda for dinner (a tapas restaurant). We had been there before 2 years ago for our anniversary and enjoyed it so we decided to go back.(which is kinda against our date nite rules!!!)  I broke the rules when I took the picture of the two of us above, because it was at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts before the musical Wicked!  Got yelled at...but whatever! Today is my  niece, Mackenzie's 10th birthday!!!  Wow how time flies! Jadyn just loves playing with Kiki and loves to spend every second with her!  Kiki is such a nice girl too.  She plays with Jadyn even though it may not be what she really would like to do!  Even had J over for sleepovers(that hasnt happened in a while since last time she did J broke a part of their chandilear(???)!! Happy 10th Birthday Mackenzie!  Thanks for being such a great cousin to Jadyn!

Having a computer with issues doesnt help with keeping up with the blog. But now my computer is up and working so here I go to fill you in on the last week or two! December 25,2009 at Guys house.  The traditional picture of the grandkids in Santa hats! We started our Christmas celebration on the morning of Christmas Eve.  We normally would open presents on Christmas morning but since I was the lucky one to have to work Christmas this year, that was not going to work!  Jadyn doesnt exactly understand or know how a calendar works so it worked out just fine!  The Eve of the Eve we put out cookies and chocolate mik out for Santa(everyone puts out white milk!!!) and a carrot outside for the reindeer to share.  While out there I swear I saw Santa's sleigh and a blinking red light is the sky!  Jadyn flipped out and ran inside to tell Daddy!  She told him that she didnt see it but Mommy did!  I gotta get to bed!!
